Before you choose a program

Most organizations spend weeks evaluating leadership training options and still feel uncertain. We built this page to change that. Below you will find a direct comparison of the three Leadership Development tracks we offer, a fit-check tool, and a clear timeline so you know exactly what to expect before your first session.

We work with mid-size teams, municipal departments, and growing companies across the Outaouais region. Our programs run in English and French, on-site at your location or at our space in Gatineau.

"We compared four providers before landing here. The comparison table alone saved us two board meetings." — Nathalie Brisson, Director of Operations, Ville-Marie Community Services

"The Team Catalyst track gave our department heads a shared vocabulary. Meetings got shorter and more productive within a month." — Réjean Ouellet, VP Human Resources, Pontiac Manufacturing

Which track fits your situation?

Four common starting points we hear from clients.

"Our new managers keep reverting to individual-contributor habits."

The Foundations track addresses this directly. Week two focuses entirely on the shift from doing to delegating, with live practice rounds and peer feedback. Participants leave with a personal delegation framework they can use the next Monday.

Foundations track

"Two departments refuse to collaborate and it is costing us projects."

Team Catalyst starts with a joint diagnostic session where both groups map their assumptions about each other. We have run this exercise with municipal planning and public works teams, tech and sales divisions, and clinical and administrative staff. The tension drops fast when people see the data.

Team catalyst

"I have been promoted to executive and I feel isolated."

The Executive Intensive pairs you with a coach who has held C-suite roles. Sessions happen at your pace. You will build a personal leadership model grounded in your values, not a generic competency list. Between sessions, you have async access for real-time decisions.

Executive intensive

"We are not sure what we need yet."

That is a perfectly fine place to start. We offer a free 45-minute diagnostic call where we listen, ask questions, and recommend a track or a custom blend. No pitch deck, no pressure. About a third of our engagements begin this way.

What makes our approach different

We do not license a franchise curriculum. Every session plan is written for the group in the room, using real scenarios from their organization. Participants work on actual problems during the session, not hypothetical case studies from a textbook. The facilitator adapts in real time based on what surfaces.

Our facilitators carry a minimum of nine years of direct leadership experience in addition to coaching credentials. They have managed budgets, fired people, navigated mergers, and rebuilt teams after crises. That background matters when a participant raises a messy, real situation.

"The facilitator had clearly read our pre-session materials. She referenced specific challenges from our intake survey during the workshop." — Dominique Tran, Program Manager, Outaouais Health Network

How an engagement unfolds

Diagnostic conversation

A 45-minute call with one of our facilitators. We ask about your team structure, current pain points, and what success looks like for you. No forms, no assessments yet.

Proposal and scope agreement

Within five business days, you receive a one-page proposal outlining the recommended track, session dates, and investment. We keep proposals short because long documents get ignored.

Pre-session intake

Participants complete a brief online survey. For Team Catalyst and Executive tracks, we add a 360° feedback tool. This data shapes every session.

"The intake survey took twelve minutes. Totally reasonable." — workshop participant, 2024

Live sessions begin

On-site at your location or at our Gatineau space. Each session includes applied exercises, peer discussion, and a take-away action item. We do not lecture for ninety minutes straight.

Mid-point check-in

Halfway through, we review progress against the goals set during intake. If something is not working, we adjust the remaining sessions. This is not a formality. We have changed track mid-engagement three times this year alone.

Closing session and forward plan

The final session includes a personal or team action plan for the next 90 days. Participants leave with a document they wrote themselves, not a template we handed them.

A note on credentials and evidence

Our lead facilitator, Marc-André Pelletier, holds an ICF Professional Certified Coach credential and a Master's in Organizational Psychology from Université de Sherbrooke. He has facilitated over 220 leadership sessions since 2016. His co-facilitator, Anika Bergström, specializes in team dynamics and conflict resolution, with a background in mediation for the Quebec labour relations board.

We track outcomes through participant self-assessments at intake, mid-point, and 90 days post-program. Across our last 18 cohorts, participants reported a mean improvement of 31% in self-rated confidence handling difficult conversations, and a 24% improvement in delegation effectiveness. These are self-reported numbers, not magic. We share the raw data with every client at close-out.
